Azuki Elementals
A Bittersweet Success One of the most talked-about stories this week is Azuki’s impressive fundraising achievement, raising a staggering $38 million with their Elementals mint.
However, the success quickly turned sour due to several issues faced by their holders during the minting process. Many users experienced bugs on the website, resulting in poor minting experiences, and some were unable to mint at all within the short 10-minute window.
Additionally, the community expressed disappointment when they realized that the Elementals collection was not entirely new but rather a derivative of the Gen 1 Azukis with additional traits. The art also had mistakes, duplicates, and the entire Azuki ecosystem experienced a decline in floor prices, with some dropping by 55%.
Despite these setbacks, the Azuki team issued a public apology, addressed the art issues, airdropped a teal bean, and confirmed their work on an anime. They are actively engaging with their community through a Discord AMA to address these concerns.
Ether Trailer & Whitelist Mint
A Spotlight Shift?
Many are now wondering if Azuki’s troubles will open the door for Ether to take the spotlight. Ether’s highly anticipated mint is scheduled for today, June 30th, with their second trailer generating over 400,000 views in just 48 hours.
It’s important to note that today’s mint is exclusively for whitelist participants, while the public sale is set for one week later, with a price of 0.65 Ethereum.
Shoe Brand Updates: Adidas, Puma, and Nike Showcase New Collaborations and Events
To generate strong momentum leading up to the public sale, Ether will need a robust secondary market with prices potentially exceeding one Ethereum for the entire collection to be successfully minted.

While this was not the actual reveal, it created a fun and engaging experience that garnered significant traction on social media. The community eagerly awaits the official reveal, hoping it will be unveiled in the coming days.
Alts by Adidas Chapter 2

From July 4th to July 25th, holders can use these tokens to unlock different traits for their profile pictures (PFPs). Each Alt can use up to 10 coins, and the team suggests saving at least one for the future of Chapter 2.
